Sarees are an implicit part of Indian tradition and women love to have a collection of sarees that will suit their body frame perfectly. Thus, if you are a smart buyer then you will realize the true importance of money and will make sure that you maintain your saree collection in a perfect condition.

Always keep a good glass tissue saree ready as it will prove handy if you have to attend any party suddenly. Cotton and organza sarees also look elegant and classy but are a bit difficult to maintain. The only flaw in these sarees is that their color starts fading after every wash. So, if you want them to last longer, always starch them after every wash. It will help these sarees to retain their shine for a longer duration.
As far as maintenance of pure georgette or glass tissue sarees is concerned, the important thing that one should keep in mind is that these sarees should always be dry-cleaned. Machine wash or hand-wash can cause serious wear and tear as the fabric might get twisted with these methods. Also, never hang these sarees in cupboard as it will bring unwanted crease on these sarees. The better approach is to keep them folded in a saree cover inside a drawer.  Also, keep changing its folds from time to time as keeping them in folded in one particular position can cause the same problem of unwanted creases, wear and tear.
